Abstract

Blockchain-enabled healthcare software provides a secure and transparent framework for patient data sharing and medical record traceability. The system stores verified transaction records across a distributed network, helping prevent unauthorized modification of clinical information. Patients can control access permissions, while doctors, laboratories, pharmacies, and insurance providers can exchange approved data securely. Smart contracts may automate consent management, claim verification, and access authorization. Each data transaction is time-stamped and recorded, creating a clear audit trail for medical histories, prescriptions, laboratory reports, and treatment updates. Encryption and identity verification further strengthen privacy and accountability. Overall, blockchain-based healthcare software can improve data integrity, reduce duplication, support interoperability, and build trust among patients and healthcare organizations.
