Fast food consumption has become increasingly common and may influence overall nutritional health through high intake of calories, saturated fat, salt, and added sugars. This study examines the relationship between fast food consumption and nutritional health among adults. Frequency of fast food intake is assessed together with meal patterns, portion size, sugary beverage consumption, fruit and vegetable intake, and other dietary behaviors. Nutritional health is evaluated using body mass index, dietary quality, energy levels, and selected metabolic indicators. The findings suggest that frequent fast food consumption is associated with poorer dietary quality, higher body weight, and increased intake of unhealthy nutrients. Regular consumption may also reduce the intake of fiber, vitamins, and minerals from healthier food sources. The study emphasizes the importance of nutrition education, balanced meal choices, portion control, and reduced dependence on fast foods to support better nutritional health and prevent lifestyle-related health problems.
