Abstract

Cloud-based hospital management software provides an integrated digital platform for managing patient records, billing, pharmacy operations, and laboratory services. This study examines how cloud architecture can improve information accessibility, reduce duplication, and support coordination among clinical and administrative departments. The proposed system connects electronic patient records with appointment scheduling, diagnostic reports, medication dispensing, inventory control, insurance processing, and financial transactions. Role-based access, encryption, automated backups, and audit trails are included to strengthen data security and accountability. Real-time data sharing helps physicians review patient histories, pharmacists verify prescriptions, laboratory staff upload results, and billing teams generate accurate invoices without repeated manual entry. The system can also support management dashboards for monitoring bed occupancy, revenue, medicine stock, test volumes, and service performance. Overall, cloud-based integration can reduce operational delays, improve record accuracy, enhance patient service, and support scalable hospital administration across multiple departments and locations while enabling decisions and continuity of care.
