Inventory management software supports stock accuracy, warehouse control, and demand-based replenishment through a centralized digital platform. The system records product quantities, storage locations, batch numbers, stock movements, supplier details, purchase orders, and customer demand. Barcode and radio-frequency identification technologies improve the accuracy of receiving, picking, packing, transfer, and dispatch activities. Real-time dashboards help managers monitor available stock, reserved quantities, inventory value, expiry dates, warehouse capacity, and slow-moving products. Demand forecasting tools analyze historical sales, seasonal patterns, and current orders to determine suitable replenishment levels. Automated alerts identify low stock, excess inventory, delayed deliveries, and reorder requirements.
