Abstract

Adequate water consumption is essential for maintaining normal physiological function and supporting overall well-being. This study examines water consumption patterns and their association with general health among adults. Hydration behavior is assessed through daily water intake, frequency of consumption, beverage preferences, perceived thirst, and regularity of fluid intake throughout the day. General well-being is evaluated using self-reported energy levels, concentration, mood, digestive comfort, fatigue, and overall physical functioning. The findings suggest that individuals with adequate and consistent water intake tend to report better energy, improved concentration, fewer symptoms of fatigue, and greater overall well-being. In contrast, low water consumption and irregular hydration habits may be associated with tiredness, headaches, reduced concentration, and digestive discomfort. The study highlights the importance of maintaining appropriate daily hydration and promoting awareness of healthy water consumption habits as a simple and practical approach to supporting physical and mental well-being.
