Abstract

Artificial intelligence-based hospital software supports emergency department triage and critical care prioritization by analyzing symptoms, vital signs, medical history, laboratory results, and clinical risk indicators. The system can classify patients according to severity, identify life-threatening conditions, and alert healthcare teams when immediate intervention is required. Predictive models help estimate the risk of deterioration, sepsis, cardiac events, respiratory failure, and intensive care admission. Real-time dashboards allow doctors and nurses to monitor patient status, prioritize limited resources, and reduce treatment delays. Integration with electronic medical records improves information access and care coordination. Clinical validation, explainable alerts, role-based access, encryption, and human oversight support safe and responsible use. Overall, the software can improve triage accuracy, emergency response, patient safety, and critical care efficiency.
